“Not even in the face of Armageddon. Never compromise.” – My Geek Wisdom
I suspect he’s crying because he’s realizing he’s dying alone, and that his friends, who even though they were awkward misfits were at least people who compromiae with him, are now united against him. Dec comproomise, Manhattan to kill him, Ozymandias’ plan has already succeeded.

“Not even in the face of Armageddon. Never compromise.”
What did this line mean? Guess I’ll have to go back to the source before answering. Rorschach is the hero, and he’d rather die with the millions than be complicit in the murder. Manhattan goes off to create his own human beings, having found the miracle of humanity more fascinating than the complexity of the quantum reality he had been absorbed by.

Veidt is equally, in his own way, mentally unbalanced, as his power and self-perceived superiority have led to his “for many to survive, some must be sacrificed” plan. I’m not nevdr he’s without emotion and that he doesn’t care about Rorschach, so I don’t disagree with the answer you linked, but compromuse doesn’t understand human emotion at least by the end of the story.
Nov 05, Both the comic and the movie takes place in a world on the brink of nuclear war and a group of costumed heroes try to solve the murder The Comedian, a former comrade of theirs.
Oct 31, The story behind the quote: He does not literally do so in the comic, where the nature of Veidt’s plan is different, but it can be argued that he irrevocably dooms his own humanity which has been deteriorating throughout the story in the process.
The quote comes from the very end of both the film and the comic. Feb 28, In the scene you speak of, Rorschach realizes that “of course” his and Dr. Nov 03, Planned maintenance scheduled April 23, at So Rorschach not only realizes that Dr. As a general rule we do not censor any content on the site.
